Collection: organic coffee

Why organic coffee?

Not only are organic products generally more and more appreciated by consumers, the different cultivation methods are also important because, unlike conventional coffee, organic coffee is grown in mixed cultures and not in monocultures.

This conserves land resources and promotes biodiversity, as well as a homogeneous coexistence of fauna and flora. This means that the coffee plants grow between shade-giving mandarin bushes or cocoa and banana trees.

In addition, mixed crops loosen and ventilate the soil better. The trees that provide shade reduce evaporation, which is a great advantage, especially in areas where water is scarce.

At the same time, however, this means that harvesting by hand requires a great deal of effort, but this guarantees better quality, secures many jobs and protects the environment.

Our organic coffee not only carries the Italian EU organic seal, but also the Austrian BIO Austria seal.

Not only certification is important

For us as roasters, it is not only the origin and certification of the coffee bean that is important, but above all its quality and taste. Thanks to our wood fire roasting with sustainable beech wood, you can enjoy your coffee with a clear conscience and be sure that the environment is protected both during cultivation and roasting.
